Slip Reclaiming

Slip mixing and reclaiming is a primary function of the ceramic industry, and doing either in a casting table is really not the right concept.  To properly mix slip, you need a very specify type of vortex action.

We offer two models of mixer/reclaimers that are excellent for either making slip or reclaiming trimmings.  Both sizes feature round polyethylene tanks with direct-drive, top mount mixers.  Each has a removable plexi-glass top cover and a 2" side drain faucet.  A steel base is optional, or  you can make one to your own requirements.

The model number of each unit also signifies the gallon capacity of the tank. The 30B and 55B use a 1/2 h.p. motor and can be shipped UPS.  They both require some minor assembly, and we include the mixing and reclaiming instructions.

30B

The 30B has a diameter of 19", tank height of 30", 41" tall overall - shipping weight 65 lbs.

55B

The 55B has a diameter of 23", tank height of 36", 47" tall overall - shipping weight 80 lbs.
