Reversible Casting Machines

They pump slip in -- they pump slip out!!

The RM30 and RD630/M have good agitation to keep the slip mixed to ideal condition.  You can leave the slip inside the tank indefinitely.  These units are not designed to make slip or reclaim trimmings.

RM30

rm30.jpg (25407 bytes)The Model "M30" was the hobby ceramic industry's original slip casting machine.  It was designed and introduced in 1965, and, with several improvements and updates, the current version remains the flagship of our company.  The Model RM30, shown below, has a unique reverse pumping action which allows for both the filling and draining of molds with just a flick of a switch.  The utility nozzle easily controls the slip flow from a trickle to a full 5 GPM.  The drain tube (attaches to the nozzle) is especially designed to draw in from the sides and will not hard the greenware.

Also, by using the reverse action, the RM30 will fill itself simply by inserting the drain tube into any container of slip.  The clear plexi-glass top covers help eliminate moisture loss and allow slip storage in the tank for weeks.  The drive assembly has no bearings or seals exposed to the liquid and, as it turns, it gently mixes the slip and keeps it in ideal casting condition.

The 30 gallon fiberglass tank has a steel frame with 3 heavy duty casters and it can be turned around within a 24" space.  It uses a 1/3 h.p., 110 volt motor and the machine is shipped fully assembled and ready to be put to work.

The RM30 has a diameter of 24", overall height is 45", height to top of the tank is 32" - shipping weight is 125 lbs.

RD30

The Model RD30 has a unique reverse action pump that both fills and drains molds with just a flick of a switch. The utility nozzle easily controls the slip flow from a trickle to a full 5 GPM. The drain tube (attaches to the nozzle) is designed to draw in from the sides and will not harm the greenware.

By using the reverse, the RD30 fills itself simply by inserting the drain tube into any slip container. The drive assembly has no bearings or seals exposed to the liquid and, as it turns, it gently mixes the slip, keeping it in ideal casting condition.

The 30 gallon fiberglass tank has a steel frame with 4 heavy duty casters for greater mobility. The open drain area has 11 dowels for convenient table top casting and dumping. It has a 1/3 h.p., 110 volt motor and it is shipped fully assembled and ready for casting.

RD30M width 22", length 46" overall height 44", height to top of tank 32.5". shipping weight 140 lbs.

RD630

The Model RD630 (not shown) has all the same great features of the RD30, except it has a larger work surface.  It uses the same mechanical parts as the RD30 and the RM30.

There is a dumping area on both sides of the top motor frame.  This area utilizes 15 removable dowels as shown.  The standard machine is designed for stationary use and has no casters.

The RD630 is 26" wide, 66" long, has an overall height of 44", height to top of tank is 32.5" -- shipping weight 160 lbs.
